Recuro ties up with TALON for virtual-first care platform

Digital health solutions company Recuro Health has forged a partnership with TALON to integrate its virtual primary care (VPC) solution into a virtual-first platform to provide complete, coordinated care.

The collaboration aims to offer an end-to-end scalable solution for full transparency compliance, reducing costs, and improving retention and productivity of employees.

Under the partnership, TALON, which provides scalable technology solutions for the healthcare industry, will deliver a solution that will be incorporated with Recuro’s integrated approach to virtual primary care for its clients.

This strategy makes it simple to connect to coordinated virtual care, which includes primary and urgent care, behavioural health, at-home lab testing, and genomics testing, said the parties.

It will also enable easy connectivity to a variety of supplemental benefits encompassing pharmacy, care management, and care navigation all on a single platform.

Recuro Health founder Michael Gorton said: “The rapid expansion of digital health is dramatically reshaping how employee healthcare is accessed and delivered.

“Plan sponsors and administrators are turning to VPC as a scalable solution for providing quality and cost-effective employee healthcare. Administrators who have integrated VPC into their health plans digitally are realising new and emerging value opportunities.”

This cooperation between the parties is expected to support and provide the newest innovations in digital health to plan sponsors, administrators, TPAs, and brokers.

TALON founder and CEO Mark Galvin said: “TALON’s role is to protect healthcare stakeholders from overpaying for care by empowering consumers to make smart, informed decisions about their healthcare based on real-time pricing data, and we are confident that Recuro supports these goals.

“The VPC model is both consumer and payer-centric, benefiting the entire healthcare ecosystem.”

Additionally, virtual primary care offers on-demand access to doctors in order to ensure that people may swiftly and easily consult healthcare specialists.

It also lowers and diverts more expenditures by directing staff members towards virtual care and assisting them in avoiding pointless doctor consultations, urgent care visits, and emergency hospital visits, the digital health solutions firm said.

Virtual-first care is said to offer a seamless, streamlined patient experience while delivering digitally optimised health services. NS Medical Devices
