This is a very exciting time to be involved in the diagnostic market in India. The clinical chemistry market has witnessed great growth and expansion in recent years and we can expect this to continue for the foreseeable future. India is an extremely important market for Randox and we are delighted to be involved, providing high quality diagnostic solutions to meet this demand. There are between 30,000 and 40,000 clinical laboratories across India, covering a diverse market consisting of private laboratories, chains, hospitals run by governments, charities and non-profit organisations, and several major private world-align hospital groups. We have witnessed huge improvements in Indian healthcare and these are being driven by the demand for accurate diagnostics with a major focus on consolidation and cost-effective testing. Patient care is the primary focus of clinical chemistry testing and Randox has developed a versatile range of high-quality clinical chemistry analyzers to meet this demand.
One of the key focuses in India is on diabetes and heart disease due to its prevalence. It has become even more important for diagnostic companies to effectively predict the likelihood of individuals developing these diseases.
