Quality Service At An Affordable Cost
BAPS Pramukh Swami Hospital, Surat has been serving the people of Surat and South Gujarat for more than a decade now. HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj established this temple of health with the noble intention of providing excellent healthcare services to everyone. Since 2005, we have been a leading force in making quality healthcare available in the region. We have been working tirelessly towards achieving our mission which is – to provide state-of-the-art treatment to all, irrespective of caste, creed or religion, at an affordable cost.
In January 2019, we are entering in the 15th year of service. Last few years have shown a positive growth in the outreach and services which we could make available. Today, we are known as a center for quality and affordable healthcare. We are also a benchmark for ethical practice. We are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and the best of medical talent. To add to this, 2018 has been a year of new achievements and improvements for us. We have been able to reach out and serve many. This year we got certified by NABH for pre-accreditation entry-level standards for hospitals and we have been assessed for NABH for ethics committee for clinical trials. Apart from this, we have been a regular participant of external quality assurance program for hematology also. In the year 2019, we will be taking this journey of quality forward. By preparing, improving and implementing new processes for NABH accreditation we will ultimately work towards improving patient care experience.
The year 2018 has brought radical changes in government healthcare reforms and we have been a continuous part of it. We are serving the population who are eligible under Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana of our state and now also under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. It also aligns with the basic purpose for which our organization was established. Our health check-up programs are one of the finest in the region and we look forward to improving them more and reach out to many. Also, many residents from outside India have been visiting us every year. With an exclusive focus on preventive health and early diagnosis, there has been a substantial increase in awareness and improvement in the quality of life. We intend to make the process of getting health check-up, a happy and relaxing experience. By creating awareness about the positive effect of dietary and lifestyle modifications, we want to spread health.
One of the many challenges in today’s healthcare system is quality service, made available at an affordable cost. In this year we will also be focussing on investing in training and development of human resource. A smart and mature team is the backbone of any organization. We want our team to grow with us. Many members of our team are with us since the inception phase and have contributed all these years in our progress. We are providing value-based education and training to our team and their families. Empowering the team with crucial decision-making rights and pushing them to perform at higher levels, reveal their inner strengths and capabilities. As an organization, we want to create the leaders for tomorrow who can spread the knowledge and intent to a larger group. By creating an enabling environment, we will achieve this. For keeping a check on the costs, we will be watching our resource utilization and work on its optimization. With changing technology, we will also work on up-gradation of diagnostics, therapeutics and surgical areas.
To summarize, year 2019 comes with new challenges and we are prepared for it by addition of service-oriented features; up-gradation of equipment and infrastructure; use of digitization and technology; creating a pool of smart healthcare professionals by training and workshops; resource optimization; Focus on patient experience; taking the quality journey forward; we have always focussed and prioritized on providing quality care at an affordable price and this year also we are committed to it. We stand tall as an answer to complete care.
