Shija Hospitals empanelled with ESIC

Shija Hospitals & Research Institute (SHRI) has announced that it is now empanelled with Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).

In a release, SHRI BD manager L Premjit Singh informed that it is the sole private hospital to be empanelled with ESIC in Manipur and further said that the ESI beneficiaries may avail the medical care services from nearby ESIC empanelled hospitals (pan-India) with ESI e-pehchan Card/Health Passbook along with Aadhaar/ Govt issued identity card and avail cashless medical services.

The ESI beneficiaries can also avail super-specialty treatment of cardiology, cardiothoracic vascular surgery, gastroenterology and GI surgery, Neurosurgery, paediatric surgery, oncosurgery, urology, nephrology, dialysis, endocrinology and endocrine surgery, burns and plastic surgery, reconstruction surgery, pulmonology, CT scan, MRI, ECHO, other scanning and specialised investigations, etc., and for secondary medical services of General Surgery, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics including rehabilitation services, eye, ear, nose and throat diseases, obstetrics and gynaecology, dental, dermatology, interventional radiology, etc., on cashless basis at Shija Hospitals.

The scheme covers same medical care services for the employees as well as their dependents.

There are around 5000 beneficiaries registered across Manipur, and they are all encouraged to enrol as soon as possible.
