The Univac Combi is an economy laparoscopic suction irrigation unit which has a dual AC pump-based suction + irrigation pump that can be used for laparoscopy. The Univac Combi has two independent AC diaphragm pumps housed in a single cabinet for simultaneous use of suction and irrigation functions in laparoscopic surgeries. Frequent flushing of surgical site enables better vision through camera as well as pin-point coagulation of bleeders

The critical components, namely, the high-quality AC diaphragm pump are made in India and are designed and tested for Indian conditions. This pump finds application in laparoscopy, gastroenterology, ENT, neurosurgery, and the like, where quick removal of blood and blood clots and pressure washing of surgical site is required.

All accessories supplied along with this unit are completely autoclavable and reusable, which ensures affordable treatment costs to patients. The only consumable accessory, which has to be changed periodically depending on use, is the hydrophobic filter on the suction side that protects the pump from fluid ingression and protects the patient from any infection possibility. The ultimate aim is to provide import-substitute high-quality products at an affordable price so that patients can avail healthcare services at a lower cost.
