Transasia donates analyzers to Bel-Air hospital
Transasia donates comprehensive range of analyzers to Indian Red Cross Society’s state-of-the-art Bel-Air Super Speciality Hospital in Wai, Satara.
As a company that’s a conscious entity of the society, we feel it’s our duty to give back to the community.
On March 19th, Transasia continued its commitment towards social welfare by donating Erba analyzers (EM200 – fully automated biochemistry analyzer, H 560 – 5 part differential hematology analyzer, EC 90 – next generation electrolyte analyzer with bio-sensor technology, ECL 105 – coagulation analyzer, Chem 7 – semi-automated biochemistry analyzer, Lisa Scan – ELISA reader, and Laura Smart – urine analyzer) to Indian Red Cross Society’s state-of-the-art Bel-Air Super Speciality Hospital, Wai in Satara district of Maharashtra.
The Transasia-Erba pathology laboratory along with the 75-bedded tertiary care hospital was inaugurated by Padmabhushan Amir Khan in the presence of Shri Shrinivas Patil, MP and Ex-Governor of Sikkim. This donation is especially significant given the importance of access to modern diagnostic equipment in the region. Father Tomy Scaria Kariyalakulum – the person instrumental in taking sophisticated healthcare to rural areas of the country – appreciated Transasia’s contribution in Bel-Air’s progress. Father Tomy especially acknowledged the extraordinary contribution made by Suresh Vazirani, Founder Chairman, Transasia-Erba Group to the hospital and institute. Anil Jotwani, Sr. President – Sales & Marketing, Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd. highlighted the benefits of Erba analyzers and later addressed the students of Bel-Air MLT College.
A first–of its kind project, the hospital when fully operational will help prevent the need for critical patients in need of sophisticated and specialized treatment in Satara and neighbouring districts to be rushed to far off hospitals in Pune and Mumbai due to lack of facilities and doctors.
This will go a long way in improving the healthcare outcomes for all, as Transasia remains committed to creating a healthier and happier world.
