Two oxygen plants will be set up from PM Care Fund at BHU Hospital

In view of the possibility of a possible third wave of corona, two oxygen plants will be installed at BHU Hospital from PM Care Fund. DRDO will also cooperate in arranging installation and operation of 1000-1000 liters per minute (LPM) capacity plant. One will be located next to the MS Office at a place with an already installed oxygen plant. The place for the second is being finalised. One plant has come to the university while the other will come soon.

Two oxygen plants have already been installed in BHU from PM Cares Fund. The government has decided to install two more soon. CMO Dr. VB Singh along with Nodal Officer Dr. Atul Kumar Singh arrived to inspect. Told that during the inspection, the in-charge of BHU Hospital, MS Prof. Saurabh Singh was also present. After talking to him, he has been asked to start the work at the selected site for the plant at the earliest. DRDO will also help in this. Pankaj Tripathi from DRDO also gave information related to setting up the plant.

The district has got four plants from PM Cares Fund, the CMO said that BHU Sir Sunder Lal Hospital, District Women’s Hospital Kabirchaura and BHU Trauma Center have already been installed. Apart from this, another plant has come from PM Cares Fund in Sir Sunder Lal Hospital itself. Soon, along with the plant located near the Pediatric Department of BHU Hospital, the plant at District Women’s Hospital Kabirchaura will also be started. Amar Ujala
