US donates O2 generating plants to Peru to face the 3rd wave of Covid

The United States Government donated eight oxygen generating plants to Peru to support in the fight against COVID-19.

With an investment of approximately $1,300,000 dollars, each of the eight new oxygen plants has the capacity to produce 4.8 cubic meters of oxygen per hour, to strengthen and improve a hospital’s response to diagnosed cases of COVID-19. “Mr. Minister, we deliver this donation of eight hospital oxygen generators to alleviate shortages in remote areas and reaffirm our commitment to work together with the Peruvian government in the next stage, where medical care for the most vulnerable will continue to be a priority,” indicated Ambassador Kenna.
