Veneeth Purushotaman Will Join Aster DM Healthcare as Group CIO

Veneeth Purushotaman, Former CIO at Fortis Healthcare, will be joining Aster DM Healthcare as the Group CIO on September 25. He has over two decades of experience in technology enablement in healthcare, pharma, education and retail sectors. He joined Fortis Healthcare in January 2016 and was responsible for driving technology and digitization. He was previously the CIO at Bharti Retail. He has also worked in HyperCity Retail India, Shoppers Stop, Rhone Poulnec India and OSTPL-NIIT Franchise. He specializes in driving business transformation and transitions using IT. Other than being the CIO, Purushotaman is also an angel investor at CHCIO and Joint Secretary at CHIME.

At Aster DM Healthcare

Purushotaman will be joining as the Group CIO at Aster DM Healthcare on September 25 and will be reporting to Dr Azad Moopen, the chairman and MD. At Aster DM Healthcare he will be responsible for the global IT strategy of the company. Purushotaman will also be driving the digital transformation for the chain of hospitals. – IDG India
