Yumizen CA40 from HORIBA India Pvt. Ltd

HORIBA Medical has earned an international reputation for its high standards of innovation, providing reliable, high-quality devices that are trusted by our customers to meet their expectations.

After stamping its authority as a major hematology player, HORIBA Medical has now stepped into the clinical chemistry segment, with a completely new range of product lines designed for all kinds of laboratories with small to high workloads.

We have recently launched the new Yumizen C range (clinical chemistry analyzers), offering new levels of instrument and reagent synergy to provide quick and reliable results, featuring robust hardware and advanced software – all backed by HORIBA Medical’s gold-standard service and support organization.

Contributing to the Government of India’s (GOI) initiative of Make in India, HORIBA India recently started instrument manufacturing at its state-of-the-art facility at Nagpur with Yumizen CA40.

Yumizen CA40 is a semi-automated clinical chemistry analyzer that would address the requirements of Tier-II and Tier-III cities, including backup chemistry support for all laboratories with high workloads.

Yumizen CA40 can be used to perform a wide range of tests on a variety of sample types, including serum, plasma, urine, CSF, whole blood, and body fluids. It has the facility to perform chemistry, immunoturbidimetry, and coagulation tests (PT and APTT). It has an 8-inch touchscreen colored display with user-friendly software.

The analyzer shows an online reaction graph for kinetic and 2-point chemistry tests, which helps the operator in checking the accuracy of results. It also has an inbuilt incubator for chemistry and coagulation tests with 8 and 5 positions respectively, further enhancing the quality of results for end-point clinical chemistry parameters.

The analyzer can also perform multipoint calibrations with three replicates per point. It comes with a rectangular polystyrene macro cuvette and coagulation cuvettes with a holder to perform all types of tests.

Additionally, it has the ability to perform three levels of quality control, along with a daily/monthly Levey-Jennings chart. The analyzer also facilitates data transfer through USB to eliminate the post-analytical manual errors.

Overall, Yumizen CA40 is an asset for any laboratory, offering several benefits that can help to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and affordability of healthcare.

To support the Yumizen C semi-automated range analyzers, HORIBA India has an indigenous range of open-market chemistry reagents Yumizen CR, which are highly cost-effective and high-quality reagents catering to the needs of different laboratories across India.

Additionally, HORIBA also plans to offer comprehensive and high-quality clinical chemistry reagents of the POINTE brand for fully automated range. The POINTE brand, started in the United States, has over 40+ years of expertise in developing reagents and distribution.
