C-CAMP announces 2nd edition of Indo Israel Innovation Bridge in health sector

The Ambassador of Israel in India Naor Gilon launched the second edition of Indo-Israel Innovation Bridge in Bengaluru yesterday. The CEO and Director of C-CAMP Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed and Jonathan Zadka, the Consul General(CG) of Israel to South India were present on this occasion.

The second edition of Indo-Israel Innovation Bridge will create a synergistic ecosystem in agriculture and Medtech sectors. Speaking on the occasion, the Israel Ambassador Naor Gilon said that Indo Israel Innovation Bridge will create avenues to enhance the natural partnership and steer it towards mutual benefit and growth. Bridge 2.0 will work on innovations in pest control in coffee cultivation, soil quality detection, and conservation, and increased shelf life of the produce.

In the first phase of the Innovation, Bridge launched last year, 38 Indian companies and 11 Israeli counterparts had worked together. The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms, C-CAMP is an initiative supported by the Department of Biotechnology of Government of India and the Department of IT, BT, and Science and Technology of Government of Karnataka.

The ambassador of Israel in India Naor Gilon had also met the Chairman of ISRO Somanath S in Bengaluru yesterday. Both the dignitaries interacted on the avenues for expanding space relations between India and Israel. The space reforms announced by the Government of India were also discussed during the meeting.
