Carestream unveils new features for DRX-Evolution Plus

Carestream Health has released an enhanced version of its DRX-Evolution Plus digital radiography (DR) system.

The new version of DRX-Evolution Plus now features a smaller x-ray tube with a larger display, which offers radiographers greater visibility. The system’s extended tube column offers more flexibility and can accommodate sites with high ceilings.

Its new tabletop has more range, making it easier and more comfortable for patients undergoing exams. Additionally, functional light-emitting diode (LED) lighting has been added to several areas, and an optional smart room features include smart position, smart technique, and smart collimation.

Finally, smart noise cancellation, a processing option that uses artificial intelligence to reduce noise in images, also is available as an add-on. AuntMinnie
