China’s hospital ship reaches Tonga, offers medical aid

Staff members from the Chinese Navy hospital ship Peace Ark provide medical services to local people and overseas Chinese during a medical mission in Tonga’s capital Nuku’alofa.

Peace Ark is China’s first hospital ship that has a capacity of over 10,000 tons. The ship arrived in Nuku’alofa on July and has since provided free medical services for members of the public. Xinhua
