M1000 integrated system powered with intelligent functions for efficient laboratory operations

A common pain point in laboratory analysis is the need for a significant amount of manual work during sample capping and loading, which is time-consuming and physically demanding. This bottleneck is particularly challenging for medium to large laboratories that require higher levels of automation, intelligence, and efficiency. To address this challenge, it is important to incorporate onboard automatic and efficient sample pretreatment functions into the systems used in these laboratories.

Mindray recently launched the new M1000 Chemistry and Immunoassay Integrated System, which incorporates an intelligent sample treatment system, along with our state-of-the-art Chemistry Analyzer BS-2800M and Chemiluminescence Immunoassay Analyzer CL-8000i. Since its launch, the system has been widely accepted and praised by customers for its high level of accuracy, working efficiency, and robustness, particularly for the innovative design and powerful functions of the sample treatment system.

High-speed decapping: Minimizing bio-hazard risks
The M1000 system can automatically decap both primary and secondary sample tubes, with an onboard decapping speed of up to 550 tubes per hour, making it ideal for high-volume sample testing. Its robotic arm utilizes variable speed control to minimize the generation of aerosols during cap removal. In addition, the system’s hidden design eliminates the need for additional space.

High-resolution recognition: Intelligent differentiation of sample containers
The M1000 system supports the loading of different types of sample tubes simultaneously, including long tubes, short tubes, and micro cups, all in the same rack. An integrated high-resolution camera with 360-degree scanning enables intelligent differentiation of micro cups and ready-to-use calibrator and control tubes, while also automatically capturing high-resolution images of samples for convenient audit of results.

UV disinfection: Enhanced efficiency with hidden design
The M1000 system features onboard UV disinfection for sample caps to help mitigate biohazard risks. More importantly, the corresponding modules are designed to be hidden so as not to take up any additional space, which meets the needs of a wider range of customers.

The M1000 system adopts several innovative designs, including a dedicated STAT channel that gives priority to emergency samples, as well as Full Scene Sampling, VU-Mix, Ultrasonic Wash, PDR optical platform and HIL.L solutions, to deliver high test accuracy.
