Mindray hosts ISUOG Ambassador Summit in Türkiye

Türkiye, a captivating crossroads connecting Europe and Asia, stands as a testament to the harmonious fusion of Eastern and Western cultures throughout history. In a remarkable convergence, its “Middle Corridor” location fosters a collaborative exploration of developmental pathways.

Recently, Mindray Medical Imaging, approved by the esteemed ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology), gathered nearly 100 eminent OBG experts and professionals from across the globe in Türkiye. The ISUOG Ambassador Summit served as a platform for an extraordinary ultrasound academic exchange. Together, we embarked on an enlightening journey to safeguard the health and well-being of women and children.

Enriching academic experience
The academic event invited ISUOG MENA Ambassadors Prof. Rasha Kamel and Prof. Mohanmed Kamel Etman, China’s Honorary Ambassador Prof. Qingqing Wu, Latin America’s Ambassador Prof. Daniel Cafici, Francophone Africa’s Ambassador Prof. Georges Haddad, as well as Prof. Ozgur Deren, Head of the Perinatal Section at Hacettepe University, Prof. Sherif Negem, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cairo University, Prof. Karunakar Marikinti, Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology at Prime Minister’s Hospital in Dubai, and Prof. Abram Ngwato Muse, Director of the Dr George Mukhari Hospital in South Africa and other experts and scholars, started a two-day academic sharing and hands-on sessions, with Prof. Tuncay Nas of Gazi University, Türkiye, as the host of the event.

During the event, Nuewa ultrasound solutions for women’s healthcare attracted much attention. In the on-site Hands-on session, experts praised the efficient and easy use of smart pelvic floor application and full-stack intelligent fetal brain scan functions.

Inspiring Women’s Healthcare
At the event, Mindray Medical Imaging invited guests to jointly launch the initiative of “Project 2025” in the field of maternal and child health.

Prof. Rasha Kamel, Prof. Daniel Cafici and Prof. Ozgur Deren were invited to talk more about the prospect of pelvic floor health and perinatal ultrasound with the topic of “Here For Her”.

Mindray Medical Imaging will continue to work with the ISUOG Society and ultrasound experts from all over the world to continue to explore the path of maternal and child health and to jointly improve the health of mothers and children.
