Narayana Multispeciality Hospital launches dept of medical gastroenterology

The higher incidences of liver and digestive problems are significantly affecting Jamshedpur and its surrounding areas. Although, the latest advancements in procedures and treatments have added more to the ease, but lack of reach, affordability and right inputs of specialists remain some of the bigger issues for many.

In an attempt to bridge this gap Tamolia-based Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital ( BNMS ) on Wednesday launched the Department of Medical Gastroenterology.

Now, patients will be able to get efficient outpatient services on all working days and will get comprehensive care and treatment.

Dr. Amiya Ranjan,consultant – Medical Gastroenterology of the hospital said, “Many Indian treat themselves and their family member’s minor to major stomach health issues with home remedies, which potentially can put their health at risk as some of them can be the symptoms of underlying bigger liver and digestive problems. Apart from that chronic liver issues can be present in a number of apparent symptoms like jaundice, yellowish skin, loss of appetite and Ascites in stomach etc. They seek urgent attention. Whether its minor stomach ache or major liver problem symptom, always consult concerned doctors to avoid upcoming risks.”

“The treatment of gastroenterology disorders and liver disorders is only possible under the supervision of super-specialist doctors.
